Worship at All Saints' ChurchWorship is at the heart of the All Saints' community. Our principal worship service is at 10am on Sunday mornings, where we celebrate the Holy Eucharist every week. Our style is informal but dignified. Sermons are given each week a diverse group of preachers, from the parish clergy to local chaplains to guest clergy of other faiths and community leaders. Choral music accompanied by the organ is offered throughout the program year by the All Saints' Choir, who lead the congregation in sung worship across the spectrum of Episcopal hymnody and beyond. We offer services of Evensong on Sundays at 5pm as announced throughout the program year, including Choral Evensong led by the All Saints' Choir, and our special Sound Bath Evensong. Holy Eucharist is also celebrated on Tuesdays at 12:15pm in the chapel. In following the traditional patterns of the liturgical year, we offer a wide range of opportunities for spiritual experience--from Christmas Eve featuring Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra, to Good Friday with Mediations on the Seven Last Words offered by diverse lay voices, to Pentecost using languages from around the world. We are rooted in the Book of Common Prayer ... We are blessed by the presence of a large number of families with young children on Sunday mornings. Nursery care is provided every Sunday morning, and children and families are especially welcome in our liturgy. Youth acolytes play a special role in our worship life as well. Fellowship and hospitality always follow worship, with Coffee Hour Express in the back of the church and other special celebrations by occasion. Newcomers are especially welcomed to this time to get to know other new and longtime church members and to get connected. The church is abuzz with activity all morning on Sunday, and we hope you will come and take part soon! |
